How often you decide to watch a movie only because the poster is interesting without even care about the story? For me, it happens quite often. Beside knowing the fact that i'd prefer to know a very bit about the story just to maximize the element of surprise. So yes, a movie poster is a must in a film industry. Not only to sell their movie to the audience, but also to give a glance what the movie is a about. In my opinion, a good movie poster is a poster that can portrays the main theme of a movie in a single picture. Not only eye-catching, but also to dig curiosity from the prospective audience's mind.
